Gritty much more brutal than most 80s thriller with amazing slo motion effects , picture entertainment , sound and quality .This is a very well made film good pick up here. 18 certificate strong graphic brutal action / language and rape mentioned.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not bad
By a customer from Aldershot, England , 28 Mar 2012ultimately disappointing due to the classic Rambo films that preceded it and the amazing Rambo 4 film that came afterwards, probably the worst of the series but a good film in comparison to other action films it's just that Stallone sets the bar so high with the other Rambo films- Was this review helpful to you?

Poorly aged
By brokenking (255 reviews) from Bristol , 17 Aug 2010This is the most outdated of the Rambo series.
The action by comtemporay standards is laughable making the already weak story all the more silly. Baring one cave sequence, which is genuinely well done, this is really just to the completists.- Was this review helpful to you?

I cant watch it!
Despite my love for the previous 2 Rambo movies nad my liking of Stallone, this is a turkey! Set in Russian occupied Afghanistan, Rambo goes searching for his captured mentor 'Trautman'. It's just a poorly made movie and the plot isn't there either. Avoidable.- Was this review helpful to you?
