I went to see this movie with high expectations on what reviewers has been saying. But I am sad to say that I have wasted the price of a cinema ticket, money on refreshments and couple hours of my life. This has totally ruined the Rambo series.I felt I needed subtitles to hear what Sly was saying most of the time.Stallone just looks awful and not the Stallion he used to be.Only watch if you want to waste your time and money.
You'll either love it or hate it - extremely violent with countless deaths on both sides, some as bloodthirsty as anything you'll see.
Rambo is older and wiser (?) having come to terms with the fact that he is a war machine. He seeks a simple life but cannot resist the call to arms when it comes.
The backdrop of Burma was in my opinion a good one and focuses attention on a despotic military regime. The baddies commit atrocities which make them instantly detestable and ultimately cannon fodder for big JR.
The plot is stupid but this is a Rambo film for heaven's sake - it does what it says on the tin. The final scenes of carnage were so gory that you find yourself starting to laugh which is quite ridiculous really.
As I say, you'll love it or hate it - I thought it were ace!

The Rambo actor has even enticed action hero-turned-California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to return to the big screen in a... Read more
