[Highly rated reviewer]Gordon Ramsay's first big tv hit, shows the viewer not how to cook like so many other 'celebrity' chefs, instead what it is like to run a restaurant. It is this refreshing insight into the restaurant business combined with Gordon's passion and unique character, which make this a hit. You see just how much hard work goes into running a restaurant from both sides, not just in the kitchen. Gordon says it was his way of giving something back to the restuarant world. At times is incredibly funny but also very informative and a big eye opener to those who have never worked in a restaurant.

Ramsey, bad language lovlinessBy Lindum (2 reviews) , 25 Mar 2013You gotta love the GR! Great viewing, we do not have terestrial tv. This is just the fix we need. Funny and lovely to see how some thicko's really think they know better than a professional chef who has run successful businesses for years.
