Vic and Bob in a fantastic re-make of the old series.
Its good to see a lot of British talent involved in making the series, Charlie Higson not only writes, produces and occasionally directs, but makes an appearance in every episode.
There is a whole host of other familiar faces from British comedy to spot.
Well worth a watch!
as a fan of the original, I was prepared to be dissapointed in the Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer version of Randall & Hopkirk (deceased). Glad to be able to say I was wrong, this series fragments the theory of British Television being unable to compete with the U.S. The humour is both blatant and subtle. The plots entertaining and well explained and the acting both funny and poignant as neccessary. Messrs Mortimer and Reeves translate their own brand of comedy to this vehicle, well accompanied by Emilia Fox, who does not let down her family name, as a butt-kicking, street smart version of the character 1st portrayed by Anette Andre. I can heartily reccommend.
