From the start this animation hits you as being something different. The more mature of you will enjoy the references to films from the past. For example, a turtle based on the John Huston character in 'Chinatown'. My pre-teen boys still enjoyed it despite the angle to the past. The script is witty, humorous, intelligent and engaging all at the same time. And we get an amazing range of 'critters' enacting a wild west starved of water all wonderfully voiced (Mr Depp I take my stetsun off to you). Perhaps some of the design of these 'critters' is a bit over the top. Never mind, this is the best, most detailed CGI that I have seen. Highly recommended.
