Average but worth watching

Okay, well the storyline is pretty average. On the surface, this film doesn't seem all that inspiring to my tastes. When the film started I expected to yawn through it a fair bit. However, I was pleasantly surprised on how, during the film, it did get better. that is, it turned out to be worth watching. you can get gripped by the events that occure in this movie quite easily. the acting is just fine. You can feel the pain of the Mel Gibson and his screen partner going throuigh hell. You can certainly feel lothing for the kidnappers, especialy the principal player. Now the charactor that spearheads this nasty operation will surprise you a bit. However, I hope you can work out why this person is involved. I'll be honest and say that I couldn't figure that out. Not entirely bad thing as you can come away from this film giving it some serious thought. Well, not a top film to watch but, it's not a disappointment either. It is worth it none the less.
