I'm a fan of Mel Gibson as he seems to be able to turn his hand at anything. 'Bird on a Wire' - 'Braveheart' - 'Ransom' need I say more. This is yet another good Ron Howard movie which starts with a simple enough storyline then the twists and turns start becoming plentiful when Mel Gibson decides to outwit his son's kidnappers and take matters into his own hands. Stacks of action for those who need it - a good movie to rent.
