    It's hard to comprehend the fascination animators seem to have for rodents. Perhaps it stems from over exposure to Tom and Jerry in formative years. At any rate, first Aardman gave us the underrated Flushed Away; now Pixar strikes back with Ratatouille.     Pixar debuts Ratatouille clip

    A nine-minute clip of a new animated movie from Pixar can now be watched online and gives a sneak preview of what fans can expect when the film opens in October. Ratatouille follows the story of a young rat called Remy who longs to become a professional chef and must overcome a number of hurdles to do so. The film is directed by Brad Bird, who previously worked on The Simpsons and both wrote and directed 2004's The Incredibles, a hilarious animated movie about a family with superpowers.... Read more

    A new film from animation studio Pixar has received an early write-up on a movie website which describes it as an "instant classic". The reviewer, calling himself the New Cruelty, wrote on Ain't it Cool News that Ratatouille - a story about a rat who wants to become a chef - is "funny" and the "performances are just right".
