Borrowing artlessly from Boogie Nights, Emilio Estevez's fact-mangling odyssey through the sleazy showbiz excesses of the seventies has all the class and conviction of a teleplay. Yet, there's a ghoulish fascination in watching him and brother Charlie Sheen portray Jim and Artie Mitchell, the feuding, drug-addled siblings who transformed the American porn industry with their sophisticated soft core. Chronicling their beginnings at San Francisco's O'Farrell Theater, through the triumph of the Marilyn Chambers vehicle, Behind the Green Door, to Artie's loveless, paranoic end, this untidy film leaves you hoping the story will eventually be revisited by a steadier hand.
This is way better than you might think. These are the parts that the two brothers were born to play and its a hoot to watch a hedonist playing a hedonist
How Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez ever put their name to this awful film I will never know. It has no redeeming features and should be buried in a cast iron box at the bottom of the deepest ocean.
I expected more from this film, quite an impressive cast and the story sounded interesting. But I felt like I'd watched a tv movie.

This is the worst movie I have seen with Charlie & Emilio, seen better acting & sex on channel 4,not worth a look at,Go for men at work or young guns anytime
