Boring

This movie is ultimately disappointing despite its genuinely scary monster. The ratman himself is good but the rest of the movie just seems to plod along with victim after victim needlessly placing his or herself in front of the ratman's bevenomed claws. The ending is quite good though I guess, shame they didn't put as much thought into the rest of the film.- Was this review helpful to you?

(14)Minuscule mutant murders models; they just murder their lines
By Marchpane (2 reviews) , 20 Jan 2013Some terrible Italian producers found a very small man in the Dominican Republic and decided they needed to put him on an incongruously big screen. Dressed as a rat, obviously. And with an appetite for blood matched only by theirs for superfluous nudity. Nowhere near as good as that sounds. If you're still disturbingly curious, save 77 minutes of your life and track down a ten-second clip of the Ratman attacking someone. Because, if nothing else, he really is VERY small. If you've accidentally exposed yourself to this film, I'd prescribe watching an episode called 'Humbug' from season two of the X-Files by way of corrective therapy- Was this review helpful to you?

Unbelievably poor yet good!

Freaky Little Rat Man :)

na nah na nah na nah na Ratman
By Kusanagiguy (101 reviews) from London , 16 Jun 2012Forget the bad effects, silly plot because this little Ratman is the scariest you are ever likely to see and is more than enough reason to pop it on for ten minutes
When it started I thought I had stumbled across someones home video VHS as the quality her really is awful but I must say it added to the creepy feel
I've seen a lot of badly dubbed Italian horror and for the most I've really enjoyed them but this is realy quite dire
I can deal with silly plotlines and the one on here is really no worse than most slasher/horror flicks - mad scientist creates human rat hybrid who escapes (what he meant to achive we never really discover)
As mentioned before the actor playing Ratman is rather creepy but the presentation never really backs up this rather unique and potentially nightmare inducing spectacle.
The film tends to revel in more slasher staples as we follow a couple of models who like to get their boobs out at every opportunity of which we spen too much time with (I hate myself for complaining about boobs).
The acting is poor and uninterseting and made all the worse due to the VHS quality look, muffled sound and bad dubbing
Do I recomend this? no not at all but im sure it would make a great youtube clip- Was this review helpful to you?
