    Excellent....

    I thought I had watched a lot of his episodes on TV, but it wasn't until I got the DVD that I realised how much I missed. Each of the episodes in this series was brilliant as are the extras on the DVD. For example one of the extras Ray shows you how to make nettle cordage. Be warned, he makes it look very easy, and to tell you the truth I tried it myself and was able to easily make a very short length of cord. Continuing the cord to make a decent length, I think is going to take a bit of practice. Well worth watching even if you have already seen the series ? you will be surprised at some of the stuff you missed first time.

    Ray Mears is as good as ever.

    The synopsis is good desription, but also he gives ' how to ... with ... '.

    Narration is simple and very good.

    I would also highly recommend Series 2 as the compliment to Series 1.
