Best Wrestling Comedy Around

When you think of wrestling, you think of the action inside the ring and the wrestlers. Well this movie shows you the perspective of the fan, and what it means for us to watch our heroes do battle.
It focuses on two fans (David Arquette & Scott Caan) who see their hero axed from the 'Industry' and shows their journey to bring back the 'King' (Oliver Platt), and put him on his rightfull throne.
It has a vast amount of talent from both the film and the wrestling worlds. It's one of the most funniest films ever made, and a must see!- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)One of the best wrestling movies around
By Franco72 (45 reviews) , 19 Jan 2013Normally when I notice a wrestling movie of movie containing wrestlers I approach with caution - this movie is the exception to the rule. Back in 2000 WCW was on the losing end of the Monday night wars with rivals WWE but as you can see from this movie they had a lot of great talent - add to this that the wrestlers didn't try to act - they just did what they do best week in and week out. Then throw in some great humor and you've got a damn fine comedy - if you're a wrestling fan like I am then give it whirl and see how many wrestlers you can name.- Was this review helpful to you?

Arquette should be shot
