Interesting, but definatley for footie fans
By Daniel Lawson from Huddersfield, ~England , 05 Mar 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This match is considered a classic and involves one of the best league teams of all time, the mighty Real Madrid of the late fiftles and early sixties. For a footie fan it's interesting to be able to see this 'mythical' side in action, they were truly wonderful, although this game was probably at the end of their great era. It was also interesting to note how well Eintracht Francfurt played and if the game had developed differently it would have been much closer. Interesting to compare the game to the modern game, although it is end to end stuff there is alos a lot more room for the players, this I feel comes down to how well modern teams are organised, especially defencively and in their ability to stop other teams playing, this game proves that not everything has changed for the better.- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)The Future in 1960
By David Smith from Spalding , 21 Dec 2007This was like watching a team from today play although not every touch is sublime! Di Stefano ,strolls, lollipops and accelerates at will . Puskas only uses one foot! Gento doesnt quite come off in this game. The scottish crowd show what they think of spanish behaviour when they disput a throw in or two. Ball boys trip over the dangling nets. St Johns ambulance guys trip over themselves fighting the ball boys to retrieve loose balls.- Was this review helpful to you?
