Most helpful review
Hitchcock Classic.
By john evans from cardiff, wales. , 01 Aug 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
James Stewart confined to a wheel chair with a broken leg relieves the boredom by harmless spying on his neighbours. It`s hot summertime so all the windows in the appartments opposite are open, most of the time.He gets suspicious when the wife of the arguing couple who live opposite go missing. He enlists the help of his girlfriend(Grace Kelly) to do the leg work. You see as he does, through their windows, people living different lives.Stewart and Kelly interact marvelously and she`s never looked more beautiful.- Was this review helpful to you?

(160)Not as good as it once seemed!
By a customer , 05 Apr 2013Am I the only one who was disappointed? My memory was of nail-biting tension, and somehow it didn't happen any more. James Stewart, my one-time hero, now seems just TOO languid.- Was this review helpful to you?
