Hitchcock Classic.By john evans from cardiff,wales. , 01 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]James Stewart confined to a wheel chair with a broken leg relieves the boredom by harmless spying on his neighbours. It`s hot summertime so all the windows in the appartments opposite are open, most of the time.He gets suspicious when the wife of the arguing couple who live opposite go missing. He enlists the help of his girlfriend(Grace Kelly) to do the leg work. You see as he does, through their windows, people living different lives.Stewart and Kelly interact marvelously and she`s never looked more beautiful.

Brilliant classic thrillerBy a customer from Billericay , 02 Jul 2010Brilliant classic thriller which gradually builds suspense and keeps you guessing as to whether it is all a figment of the imagination or real.
Hitchcock's an ace!By a customer from St. Helens , 21 Apr 2010
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideRear Window was made in 1954 and is a man who spies on his neighbours from his apartment but soon gets more than he barginned for when he thinks his neighbour has murdered his wife!
In my opinion the film slightly drags on a bit but is well worth watching. I think it is very well put together and the bonus material is an interesting watch!!!!
Rear WindowBy a customer from Crediton, Devon , 03 Feb 2010Excellent storyline, and for its time, very much edge of the seat stuff. The ending is somewhat dated compared to todays special effects, but again for its time, a really good thriller. Loved the main stars in this film.
Rear WindowBy a customer from Weybridge , 10 Jan 2010What a film, a must watch! a bygone era to make you chuckle deserves its cult status.
Rear WindowBy a customer from Woolsthorpe by Belvoir , 19 Dec 2009Very believable tale of someone laid up with nothing better to do than nose around his neighbours. Typical Hitchcock but compulsive viewing.
