Melancholy comedy of failure which did not please its star's adherents and indeed just missed the style it was seeking.
I found this a refreshing change from the films coming out today, and Tony Hancock a refreshing change from today's comedians. Its a must for Hancock enthusiasts. I thoroughly enjoyed both films.
Not easy to rate two stories on one disc. The P&J Man was a disappointment strictly for Hancock devotees.As proved down the years small screen does not always transfer well to the big screen (there was always doubt as to the wisdom of the radio /TV move) The Rebel did learn some lesssons.
