I thought REC 2 was a total let down. It lacked any real emotion for the viewer towards the characters. The begining was a bit slow, then all the action seemed to come all at once then you just get the feeling that you've 'seen this all before'. Where as in REC the build up towards all the action was interesting & it delivered well.- Was this review helpful to you?

By nurseboy (58 reviews) from oxford , 01 Jun 2013following on directly and immediatly from the action in [rec]. i was hopefull of something good here and it didnt dissapoint following the same very tense pacing and shakey camera work all told through cams and footage this had a very 'aliens' feel to it, think about it in the first a small cast of characters in a small clastraphobic environment, then followed by a larger cast of tooled up hard men going in to resolve the situation. this in itself would have been fine and dandy producing a good solid sequel however the rec boys raised the bar again by introducing a whole different dimension in the form of the religious aspect of the zombies/possesed. tense scary and executed with style and aplomb the only issue i have with the film is that it set me up to look forward to rec 3 which unfortunatly was almost as bad a prometheous (see my reveiw)- Was this review helpful to you?

Make my heart pound like crazy!!!
By Lita22 (4 reviews) , 28 May 2013One of the best movies I ever seen, and Spanish like me, so I know what I;m talking about. It's the only movie that actually scare me. I don't think that have a slow beginning, just a few warm up and the action is constantly, don't leave you breathe!!! Recommended to everyone!! I really enjoy it. surprisingly good

But i was pleasentlt surprised! Good storyline, scary, jumpy pretty much a success. I advise you rent this if you enjoyed the first one.- Was this review helpful to you?
