Spawned from American 1980s uber-paranoia about the Cubans and Russians, who apparently have an army so skilled and powerful they can take over the U.S. mainland in a few mere minutes and without anyone really even noticing, and yet simultaneously so inept that a few schoolies can kill virtually all of the 500,000 strong occupying force without so much as breaking a sweat. The initial invasion scene is pretty good though, but alas the remainder of the acting throughout is not. One of the 'classic' films from yesteryear that perhaps should have stayed there. At least I'll understand a few more obscure Family Guy from now on, so all in all I'm a not too unhappy wolverine.
