Red Eye far exceeded my expectations!

Red Eye far exceeded my expectations! Rachael McAdams is amazing. She is good at everything. She's tackled comedy, romance, teen movies, and now the thriller/action genre all in a short time. She played her role well. With the wrong actress, the character could have seemed idealistic and boring, but Rachael shone through and sparkled up her character, Lisa. Cillian Murphy's performance was equal to that of McAdams. I was impressed with him, and I think we can expect great things from him in the future if he chooses his roles wisely. In a minor role, newcomer Jayma Mays was absolutely amazing. She was funny and quirky and lightened up the movie. I hope to see more of her. The plot could definitely have been more gripping, the story lacked originality, but it was performed well and was easy to get wrapped up in. It had a good combination of action and thriller; the movie definitely had more than just a few good fight scenes. Go rent it. Regardless of your genre, you'll probably enjoy it.
