    [Highly rated reviewer]

before you all start telling me off for reviewing something i havent played i will start by saying that i downloaded this online and ran it useing my usb loader on my softmod wii so i know what im talking about when i review it....

now the first thing that jumped out on me about this game was how very diff it felt from the first red steel, this time round they have gone for a cell shaded look,

the game is mission based alot like in 'bolderlands'

the sword control is much improved and feels like you are really fightting and not just swinging our arm around like a muppet, that is inpart thanks to the M+ atachment (witch is needed to play the game)

the game is a miss beteween wildwest and jap sword play,

there is a shop where you can upgrade your sword and gun with the cash you get by smashing things in the world or by killing bad guys,

the controls feel alot like they did in COD4 on the wii,

i was very imprest with the voice acting that i have seen so far (im 5 missions in),

the best thing about this game is you dont have to have played the first game red steel witch is no were near as good

    i give this a very high 8 outta 10,

i will be buying this to replace my downloaded copy when it comes out thats how much i liked it, i just hope they make a red steel 3

this is one for the hardcore gamers

Was dissappointed to find I couldn't play this game due to it requiring a wii motion plus. Don't rent unless you have one.

Just another typical let down by the wii, makeing out that a game has finally pop along which is designed for a more broader range than just the constant flow of kids games that are coming through, but it is a let down repetative and confusing no storyline to point a finger at but the only like i can say is the use of the Wii remote...had potential but ended up being pretty dead to be fair

Firstly, I'd highly recommend owning a wireless nunchcuk. Period!

    Onto the review...

This game is worth renting to test it out, but i wouldn't buy it personally.

After owning a motion-plus with nothing to play it with I rented Red Steel 2. Off the bat the motion-plus was not all it cracked up to be as the remote could STILL be waggled about and moves/combos ensue. Not accurate sword weilding as I thought it would be.

In the games defense, I haven't played the first Red Steel so I don't know how much of a MASSIVE improvement this is.

I only played it a couple of times as it didn't strike me as 'realistic'.

Just my 2 pence worth, so don't go shooting me down if you love the game.

The games is set as a 1 on 1 game i live this game because is give you chooses of weapons and the graphics are a little low but it a great game to play.
