Typical HK movie trying to duplicate a Hollywood movie ( in this case they were trying to merge Speed 2 wiz Die Hard - it's Die Hard on a cruise liner !! ) - u get the feeling that the director tried to get the movie out to the cinemas a.s.a.p . Very predictable storyline ; average fight scenes - watch with an open mind or if u are stuck @ home on a saturday night due to bad weather etc ............
Ex-cop security guard on an ocean liner has to save the day when ruthless terrorists take over the ship. This is one of those rarities for Yuen Woo Ping - a modern day set actioner with more gunplay than Kung Fu action. Top billing goes to Christy Chung, but this is action man Kenny Ho's film. We have seen this all before, just thing Under Seige or even Jackie Chan's City Hunter, but this is still entertaining enough to pass a quiet evening.
This DVD is a two set package from the excellent Hong Kong Legends label with most of the extras on disc two. There is an interesting commentary on disc one, if nothing else but a few trailers.
