If you watch this film you will feel like renting out your brain, believe me. I made it through the firs 20 mins or so before the mind numbing twaddle made me switch it off. Watch at your own risk. You have been warned
I had never seen this movie and I had never heard the music. I have to admit I haven't really decided whether I like it or not. The music, acting and singing was lovely but I just did not like the story. It seemed like quite a pointless musical. The aknowledgement of aids and how it affects peoples lives were good and touching. Other than that I could not feel for the characters which is a shame. My sister insists that the stage version is much better. There are some really good moments though. I like the song where the two lesbians have a fight. Also the song seasons of love which is right at the beginning. All of the cast did a great job with the film I just did not like the story or lack of a story.
