    [Highly rated reviewer]

To be honest I dont usually leave an actual review for a film although I do rate them and appreciate others leaving comments on films I have yet to see. This is also the reason I feel obliged to leave a review as I think some people have given this film a pretty pants rating. I saw Repo Men at the cinema last night and I think the the film is Excellent, its full of action, great acting, great story and very entertaining. It's good to see Jude Law in a more physical hard man role compared to the weedy roles as Alfie etc. I am not going to blether on about the story, plot, character development etc etc. I just want to say that I dont agree with others giving this film a low rating and encourage you all to watch the film.

  • Dumb gore-fest

Wow, I can't believe how bad that was. Before showing the endless gory stream of organ removals, they should have shown the director having his brain removed, as must have happened at some point, so the viewer would know not to carry on watching. What was Forest Whitaker doing in something like this?

dont bother watching unless you want to see a gore film trying to be a futuristic thriller. Struggled to watch it to the end. the twist of the plot at the end just made me think what was I watching this rubbish for.

I enjoyed this film throughout and then the twist made me love it. These are guys doing emergency organ removals on the kitchen floor or back of a taxi! So some blood is to be expected but not overly much.

quite possibly the oddest film I have ever seen, not particularly enjoyable, some parts quite gory but still captivating enough to make you want to know what happens so you keep watching! Bizarre!

Groovy premise, wobbly execution. In the near future, organs are loaned out like mortgages and if you default on your payments, then some agency operatives will come and take the organs back. Tables get turned on agent Law when he requires an alternative heart which he can’t pay for. Lots of claret flies around, a lot of it quite entertaining, but the film keeps losing focus and grinding to a halt until the next high octane blood-letting comes along. Law’s buzzcut unfortunately makes him look a bit like Phil Collins – hardly what you’re looking for in an action movie leading man!
