Its really pointless to the storyline. It doesn't really travel any where. Its pretty much a filler. Would only recommend to people who like a lot of action. You don't have to really watch this to keep up with the storyline. I'm sure the next one will contain the last 10 minutes of this one in.

If like me you found the other Resident Evil movies watchable and would like to see what happens next with the story then you're probably going to rent this no matter how much I advise you not to, but I will try anyway. The good points first! the best scenes in this film have been taken from the previous installment (Afterlife) such as the Zombie girl standing in the rain in a bustling Tokyo. The only other okay parts are the opening scene and maybe a couple of fight sequences with Milla Jovovich but everything else is a waste of time unfortunately. This should have and could have been a much better film but the straight to DVD says it all really...shockingly bad. If the constant fire from automatic weapons that seem to hold an annoyingly large amount of ammunition doesn't drive you crazy the awful acting, poor script and rubbish sounds will. I would strongly recommend you avoid watching this film, unless you have a load of friends over and you just want something to laugh at in the background while you have a few beers or something. If you are new to Resident Evil try watching any of the other previous films with the stand out (best one in my opinion) being Resident Evil: Afterlife. Hope this helps in some way, enjoy!

There's no movie here. It's just a cheap rehash of reusable CGI algorithms. Well, I'm hitting the STOP button on this over-extended video game.

Rubbish, the franchise had so much potential it is such a shame to see such drivel bearing the Residant Evil name. Don't bother.

No no no no! These guys have lost the plot! Oh Milla, get out now, you're so much better than this. In summary, awful script, bad acting, a plot more mutated then the zombies (of which hardly feature at all in this film) not fun at all. How many fricken times must we watch a half naked Milla regain conciousness in a giant white room!?
