Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

well being a big fan of the resident evil series i kind of went into this game a little biased but this game lived up to what i thought it would be a great homage to the first few games of the series and a great on the rails shooter id very much recommend this to any one who like resident evil or even the on the rails shooter genre.

They made possibly the most enjoyable game for playability in resident evil 4.... they then brought out umbrella chronicles, which went more arcadey, fail. They then have done alot of work graphically for resident evil 5, however its arcade like, and worse than that it jumps your screen all over. Please, expand on number 4 as it was, and still is, one of the best games for the wii yet.

This is a brilliant game to go along with the rest of the Resident Evil franchise. I like the fact that throughout the story, it allows you to go into flashbacks of previous games (such as leon telling us more about his first day as a cop in Resident Evil 2). It also clears up a few unanswered questions i had from the other games.

The graphics are UNBELIEVABLY amazing, and sometimes it actually seemed like i was watching a movie rather than playing a comuter game. The only thing missing from this game was the puzzle element the other games have. Such as finding keys, or location objects to open a hidden door. You are not in control of your movements, just the gun, and the computer pushes your character in the direction it must go.

This is definitely a brilliant SHOOTER game and is fantastic to play with a friend, or else the computer will adopt the role of the additional character (you are unable to play just on your own). I did however manage to complete the whole thing in just a day... but then again, i am pretty fantastic :)

The Resident Evil title has given us hours of fun on many gaming platforms, the Wii bring the game to live and gets the heart pumping, play with the lights OFF if you can! Another good zombie game to add to the collection.
