Too obscure
By a customer from UK , 11 Apr 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
I didn't really 'get' this collection of short films. It was a bit like going to an art gallery and looking at abstract art and trying to figure out what it was all about.
A few dead bodies were shown but without an understanding of what that particular piece was trying to say, it was just gruesome.- Was this review helpful to you?

By andysbar (34 reviews) from London , 25 Dec 2011this is like watching an art class project, only we haven't being given the assignment ,to help us put theses poetic images into context in places striking to look at and in other places pretentious , interesting but it wont change your world- Was this review helpful to you?

Politics and Poetry
By Ahmed1453 (9 reviews) from Glasgow , 29 Oct 2011Some brilliant films. Noureddine was the highlight director. Also big ones from Fatmi and Alshaibi. Great stuff. Overflowing with poetry and politics. Not to watch this is like never having tasted Indian mangoes.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Shame
By a customer from London , 27 Oct 2010If done properly, this could have had potential for being good. Unfortunately this series of short films is all a bit of a gruesome blurr. The first few are awfully uninspiring, and that was even after watching them at 6x. There is one film near the middle that consists of a poetry piece that is the highlight of the set, but you need to have a background understanding of the Lebanese Massacre for it to mean anything. Overall, I found it quite disappointing to say the least.- Was this review helpful to you?
