A Southern gem

This movie was a true discovery: it is totally unpredictable and keeps you staring at the TV screen listening and absorbed throughout. The acting is inspired: all characters seems very natural as if they really belonged to the small Sicilian village where the movie took place. The ending is magical on par with 'Cinema Paradiso'. Why can we not see more films like this in main stream cinema instead of all that Holliwood garbage?
