Good plot

Retroactive is a better than averagly written, p[lotted offering than the usual US fodder. However the Acting and direction let down a good concept. Worthwatching tho, a good ensemble performance.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not quite sure what the problem was, perhaps the mediocre acting, the plot itself or the event, but somehow I suspect more could have been done to raise the movie from just average. Surprised that the level of violence (which was not high by today's standards) should have warranted an 18 cert - may the censor had an off day! Disappointing, pedestrian movie at best, but passes the time if you've got nothing better to do.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Film

If you like Time Travellers Wife (? author) and Replay (Ken Grimwood) - my favourite books - you are going to love this film. Imagine being able to go back in time and change your life. An action-packed sci-fi thriller starring James Belushi, Kylie Travis and Frank Whaley with breathtaking special effects and a storyline with twists and turns that pushes the adventure to the edge.
In brief, Karen Warren is a beautiful hostage negotiator trying to escape a tragic past who finds herself in a horror situation being stranded on a deserted highway with a violent psychopath who commits a brutal murder before her eyes.
However, with the help of a young scientist Karen discovers an opportunity to stop the rampage before it starts.

Great plot, good acting role from James Belushi and not too many characters...

For me I liked the small number of characters in this film. James Belushi does a great job in this film with the main role, but the others... well the acting is a bit hit and miss.
