This is shaun of the dead 80's style,
But where as SOTD was funny this film just tends to border on the silly with annoying people screaming throughout the movie as they slowly turn into zombies.
poor acting , dodgy effects
oh dear
stick to SOTD or dawn of the dead
I have started the big task of watching all zombie films made since Night of the Living Dead. This film from John Russo's Branch is very much his style - a few funny bits, some cheese, gore and it's fun to be honest. Bear in mind it was made in 1987 so don't expect great quality. The fact that everybody shouts pretty much all the time gets a bit annoying, and as some scenes are very predictable, others aren't and this film still managed to make me jump and shout a few times! Great for fans of zombies!
