Having tasted success with The Wisdom of Crocodiles, it took courage for director Po Chih Leong to opt for a TV-movie. But, he imbues this hybrid of Kiss the Girls and Death and the Maiden with a deeply disturbing atmosphere and no little suspense. Shrewdly cast against type, Judd Nelson impresses as the screenwriter who draws inspiration from kidnapping and killing young women, whom he then buries in his underwater garden of remembrance. However, his last victim, Hedy Burress, proves a more than capable adversary. With its eerily ingenious photography and agonisingly measured pace, this might just change your views on teleplays.

    different

Not bad at all and a little suspenseful in parts, but not one for you if you like to guess 'who dunnit'as all the way through , from the very first killing you see the perpetrator and are merely left wondering 'who next'.
