In this mawkish romantic comedy drama, a recently widowed architect (David Duchovny) falls in love with the beautiful young waitress (Minnie Driver) who received his late wife's heart in a transplant two years before. This film is a gem! Isn't it always the way when you don't expect a film to be anything special it just knocks you right off your feet? This is such a film.
I couldn't find fault in this film at all, it's great from start to finish. The music is great and the scenes with the old men sitting around the table in the restaurant are priceless!
Duchovny and Driver are good in the role, roles I didn't think either would pull off but they did. A great romantic light hearted drama that will appeal to most people. Get a nice drop of wine and a take away and settle back with your loved one and enjoy - worth renting.
A nice film to watch with the family
