Very funny. Nothing like his character 'Murray' from Flight of the Conchords but a must for all Conchords fans!
he is briliant, very funny and clever. big fan of his work, particularly flight of the conchords. this dvd is ruined by the fact that its filmed in front of an american audience. i mean really, is there any need to whoop and cheer when hes not even delivering a punch line!!!!
I love comedy and love to try out new comedians. Unfortunately I found Rhys Darby only slightly entertaining. I watched the whole DVD hoping that it might just get better. It was somewhat entertaining but he kept going back to the same bits that had been midly amusing the first time they were mentioned and as a result made it cringe worthy. I was greatful that it wasn't a longer DVD. I'm sure fans of his will truly appreciate his type of humor, I however did not.
Poor. Unless you are a fan of the fairly niche 'sound effect comedy' genre. Likable guy but really only funny to younger viewers.
Too bland for me. A few good sound effects and that's your lot.

I'm gutted!! I thought this was going to be great. Instead I found it very average. It has moments of potential but fails to go anywhere. It was reminiscent of seeing an average comedian in your local comedy club; perhaps I was just having an off day, but none of the jokes seemed to go anywhere, and at points it was almost like he was making material up on the spot, and struggling to do so! This is certainly not a set that majority of comedians would want documented.
Didn't know what to expect as I'd only seen him in Flight of the Conchords but I thought he was verry funny and the sound effects were great.
Thought it needed a contrasting review from all the negatives around here. I don't know what these other people were watching but i thought it was very original and very funny. He's brilliant as Murray Hewitt and portions of this come through in his stand up act. If your a fan of Flight of the Conchords or just good comedy, watch this.
