Richard III is the first Shakespeare I ever saw when I was 11 years old and it began my love affair with Shakespeare which has grown until now that I am 64. This is an excellent production but now that I know more about Shakespeare and the original play I wish that Laurence Olivier hadn't messed about with the script.
Claire Bloom stayed in my memory for a very long time as the tragic Lady Anne.
