    Utter Rubbish

What starts out as a tense, anxious thriller, descends into sheer boredom with a so called 'twist' that leaves a empty feeling in your stomach. The worst overhyped film of the year - don't believe the adverts!

Receive It Right Through Your Door

I am genuinely surprised by all the negative reviews directed towards this film. Right At Your Door is a thrilling, well made drama keeping your attention firmly glued to the screen. It is essentially a film portraying one man's panic as he learns via a news broadcast that a dirty bomb has gone off in down town Beverly Hills where his wife is currently situated. As the viewer, we know no more than that of the central character. Therefore, we join him on his ride of overpowering terror. With the deadly chemicals fast approaching him in the suburbs, does he secure the house from the outside air immediately? or should he wait for his wife to arrive? assuming she's even alive. It's true that the initial 30 minutes are the film's finest moments. What proceeds is slightly flawed with a dodgy script but that does not detract from what is an very compelling concept. With a tighter script and better actors this could have been a classic. As it stands, Right At Your Door is a very admirable independent movie which will leave you with the feeling of being punched in the stomach as the film's very neat conclusion asks some harrowing questions regarding the identity of the real enemy in this traumatic situation.
