Ok,I'll cut straight to the chase-this is quite probably the worse film I have seen so far this year.De Niro AND Pacino playing a couple of veteran, maverick cops in a New York set thriller, this is going to be awesome right?Well,er,no actually wrong.Where to begin? A very poor script, two of the most tired performances either actor has ever given,a twist a chimp could telegraph fifteen minutes into proceedings, and a plot that the writers of Kojak would've rejected for being too far-fetched.The only reason I stuck with this and didn't walk out,was the fact that De Niro and Pacino have featured in some of the best films of the last 30 years. This is most definitely not one of them. It's painful watching these two screen acting heavyweights spout second rate TV movie dialogue, and looking like they only turned up for the paycheck.I never thought I'd say this about a film starring two of my all-time favourite actors, but here goes-AVOID.

Good cast-Deniro,Al pacino, 2 NYPD veteran maverick cops , taking law in own hands .Watchable fair film but disappointing given the potential

  • Really poor film, disapointing, more like a TV film

With two of my favourite actors in, i was really looking forward to this. But what a major disapointment Without doubt the worst film i've ever seen with deNiro and Pacino. I imagine had this been shot back in the early 90's it would have been a big success. But, there's nothing in this, it feels like i'm watching a film made for TV. I'll give the guys who did the trailer for this credit though. They made the trailor look 10 times better than the actual film. I'd advise anyone to avoid this or your in for a big disapointment

  • Should've Been Made 25 Years Ago

Just average I'm afraid, decent storyline and acted well enough but failed to grab me. De Niro and Pacino are, unfortunately, just playing dull caricatures of themselves. Wish they'd made this 25 years ago when both starts were at their best.

  • An interesting film and worth a watch

My husband and I really enjoyed this film. It was not one of the greatest of films but was good enough to keep you watching. It had a clever story and a few great twists. It wasn't one of Robert De Niro's greatest of films yet it was still a good film. Will see again.
