How did this ever got passed the HBO censors? Even if you don't know who Tony Blair, George W, Dick Chaney and ENRON are you will want to find out how Golf was invented by the Scottish, what the effects of Viagra are really like and why Panda bears don't mate in captivity.
Even if you know nothing about American popular culture just to see Robin's on stage antics will make you cry with laughter. The DVD has a special bonus feature with all the sounds Robin makes during his show.- Was this review helpful to you?

(64)Multi-talented performer - great stand up!
By PaulHappy (144 reviews) , 01 Feb 2013Whether he is acting, giving interviews or doing stand up - Robin Williams is a genuine talent! In this show his observations, his impressions/accents and his non PC approach all contribute to a very funny routine. If his sweating is anything to go by - then he gives his all on stage - he is the US version of Lee Evans :-) He is a multi-talented performer and although his routine was funny throughout - some parts of the show was extremely funny (e. g. going to the Doctors).- Was this review helpful to you?

robin williams - comedy from the gutter
By a customer , 10 May 2011no one doubts this great man is great at what he does Comedy, but i was put off by his constant swearing. which surprised me. he has shown so much in the other films like GOOD MORNING VIETNAM] TO SHOW the world he is a true classic comedian, but please without the need for his foul mouth , this would have been a pleasure to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

Robin Williams - Live On Broadway
By OldFellrunner (1 review) from Lancaster , 06 Jun 2009Deliciously funny; Williams' genius is very engaging. Some references to American events means that those jokes were lost on me. His performance lasts over an hour. How many comedians can sustain an audience for that long (Ken Dodd's jokes are nowhere near as funny)- Was this review helpful to you?

pretty good
By a customer from Bristol , 28 Jan 2009I love Robin Williams and on the whole this is a good DVD. Only let down by its American bias: some references to politicians, TV stars were lost on me. Another minus in my opinion is the need for continual swearing
However there are some pant-wettingly funny moments here- Was this review helpful to you?
