Excellent! Very Funny!

When I heard that Robot Chicken was finally going to be released in the UK I was incredibly happy! It has been out in america for years and only available on region 1 dvd (there are 3 seasons/series over there in total at the moment).
Robot Chicken is a fantastic 'sketch-show' comedy which uses stop-motion animation with various customised action figures. The jokes themselves relate to popular characters such as Geroge Bush, retro cartoon characters such as transformers and he-man, and popular celebrities.
If you love immature humour and a few risky jokes, then this is definately for you. Also, this was created by Seth Green; the man responsible for other great comedies like Family Guy!- Was this review helpful to you?

(8)GET THE CLUCK OUTTA HERE!
By nORMObAZZA (1245 reviews) from Surrey, England. , 05 Aug 2011An American take on what 'Adam & Joe' were doing (with less money) many years ago. Starts off brightly, but the novelty wore off after about five episodes, I then found it rather tedious. To be fair, watching what were intended to be weekly(?) shorts en masse may have caused overload. I'll still check out their 'Star Wars' special, but may not bother with series 2. People more au fait with American culture will no doubt get more out of these.- Was this review helpful to you?

Patchy, but worth checking out
By Wibblefish (16 reviews) from Bognor Regis , 16 Jul 2010The jokes can be a bit hit and miss, and the humour revolves around American culture so a lot of it goes over my head, but there is some good stuff to be found here including sketches based on The Canonball Run, The Smurfs and Charlie Brown. Some of the people that Seth Green has managed to get to play voices is impressive to, including Burt Reynolds and Pat Morita playing themselves, and Mark Hamill playing Harrison Ford.- Was this review helpful to you?

about a third of the sketches are really funny, a lot of them get a bit tedious
By sherriffflood (45 reviews) from Reading , 16 Feb 2010I saw a few clips of this show on youtube, and thought it was really funny, so put the whole dvd set on my list. Having seen a couple of the dvds so far, I think they should have just done a 'best of' compilation, because a lot of the sketches aint that funny. I suppose you could say the same with any sketch show, but I mean really unfunny-like tedious. But the few that are good are worth seeing, so I reccommend getting it out, but watching with the remote in your hand to fast forward the rubbish ones, or having it on in the background.- Was this review helpful to you?
