By now the formula was starting to look stale, although two further sequels followed this tired effort. The opponent here is Mr T, before he became a star in The A-Team, who takes Sylvester Stallone's championship crown; Rocky then battles to reclaim it. Writer/director Stallone once again finds roles for Talia Shire as his long-suffering wife, Carl Weathers, Burt Young and Burgess Meredith, but the story is predictable and it all goes a little flat outside the ring.

THE BEST OF THEM ALL!!
TO ME, THIS ROCKY FILM IS THE BEST OUT OF THE 5 ROCKY FILMS MADE. IT'S ALSO THE MOST REALISTIC OUT OF THEM ALL.
IT'S GOT THE BEST CAST OUT OF THE 5 FILMS, AND HAS A MORE DARKER SIDE TO IT.
YOU GET A TASTE OF THE GOOD LIFE HE HAS GOT SINCE WINNING THE TITLE, BUT THEN AFTER GETTING HAMMERED, HE SETS UP A RE-MATCH, YOU GET TO SEE THE MORE BLOOD AND SWEAT SIDE, THE BACK STREETS, THE UNDERGROUND TRAINING GYMS, THE WAY IT USED TO BE BEFORE HE BECAME 'ROCKY'!!
BRILLIANT RE-MATCH AT THE END, AND TO ME THE MOST FEARSOME FIGHT SCENES IN THE ROCKY COLLECTION.
CLUBBER LANG (MR-T) IS SUPERB AS THE SUPERSTRONG SLUGGER.
WELL WORTH WATCHING....AND THE FIGHT SCENE AT THE END WILL DEFINATELY HAVE YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!!!

The all time motivational movie
A british olympian after crashing out of his first event went back to the olympic village, and watched this film.
In his next event he won an olympic medal. That's how powerful the film is! -

the rocky movies are a classic i think i have watched well over a hundred times
my husband must be sick of it but he watches them as well
talia shire and slyvester stallone are two of the best characters
in all of the films -
Knockout entertainment
This in my opinion is probably the most enjoyable Rocky film of all, the first he was finding his feet, the second was the rematch, this one contains 3 fights, one with the excellent Hulk Hogan as thunderlips. Mr T is great here as well as clubber lang, very brutal! This film is a good stand alone film that has great highs and despairing lows. Watch it!

I like the films they entertain, if I wanted to be educated I would go to school.
