Poorly acted Political agenda masquerading as a story!
By jamesa0330 (16 reviews) from Glasgow , 27 Apr 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Political agenda masquerading as a story! Despite being ok and celebrating a movie with male on male physicality, I was saddened to see a major opportunity missed by resources squandered on such a poor plot. The actors are fit but are not skilled enough to make the slowly paced and badly edited film worth watching. Sad, but there ye go!- Was this review helpful to you?

By DrD (2 reviews) from Tewkesbury , 11 Feb 2013I enjoy low budget films if the script is well written, the acting great and the filming and editing professional. Sadly it failed in all departments. It even put me off visiting Palm Springs!- Was this review helpful to you?

Like waiting for a potato to peel itself
By a customer , 15 Dec 2012Hi Mom it's Matthew. MATTHEW! Yes me. Told you I wasn't moving to LA to do porn, although it was tempting Mom I went into serious acting. When what? Erm not ,much of a good idea mom. You wouldn't like it. I erm, get naked a lot. Huh? Erm first five minutes? What's it about? I dunno but the men are like so gorge mom it was like HE VEAN. Story? What story? Oh the 'film' it was about this like gorge man getting naked. Sexist? Objectification? Mom its men it doesn't count (claps hands frantically like a demented seal and jumps up and down) So all's good....mom! MOM? ...........(dial tone)- Was this review helpful to you?

Pretty disappointing.
By Thegaycritic (72 reviews) , 12 Dec 2012I'm a big fan of Matthew. I thought this was pretty poor though. Not much of a story really. Nice setting though.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dull, preachy and a waste of a good idea.
By JonathanWelfordcom (34 reviews) from Manchester , 10 May 2012Two gay guys meet at an exclusive retreat recovering from two life changing upsets in their lives. One is a closeted soap star who has been outed with a gay sex tape, the other is a 'right on' gay mentor supporting gay marriage who's marriage has broken down.
Just a pitiful excuse to write clunky, preachy dialogue about gay activism and the woes of living an open gay lifestyle. Poorly acted enhanced with static film shots and bad editing make the apparent twist that each individual set each of there situations up so the outcome was pre destined. That twinned with unlikely chemistry.
The spark of interest were the limited peripheral characters, the brief screen time with the hotel owner made me want to know about his story more, he set up the intimate resort with his partner but shortly after he died, leaving him there running the show resigned to the fact it was unlikely he would forge another relationship due to the remoteness of his hotel.- Was this review helpful to you?

Seen better, seen worse
By a customer , 17 Feb 2012Some below-average acting, but as far as small productions go it was well shot, and was well written. Better actors could have made this a great little movie.- Was this review helpful to you?
