Still the greatest
By a customer from Kernow , 05 Nov 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
I recently watched the DVD, having hired it from my local DVD hire shop. The Stones are the greatest rock group ever and this concert shows why. The supporting stars and the backing group does them proud. Nearly two hours of sheer enjoyment and a must to buy.
I have given this a rating of 5, would have been higher if possible.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Rolling Stones: An insight into their life
By a customer , 26 Sep 2011This film is simply wonderful and you dont have to like the Rolling Stones to watch. Its one of those films you dont keep looking at the time or DVD running time whilst you are watching.
Great footage of the Stones on stage in the 21st Century and television footage of them as young men in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Its not your usual concert DVD as its directed by a legend of film. Its really one to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

SHINE A LIGHT
By a customer from edinburgh , 16 Sep 2010Scorcese and the stones would have been a good idea back in the 70s but here scorcese actually makes the band look terrible . Jaggers voice has gone , richards is more interested in hamming it up on stage and charlie watts is half awake , and the audience stuffed with strategically placed lovelys half the bands age . Its not a good performance im afraid , the guest spots and documentary footage add little and if you want to see a stones concert film get 'gimme shelter' or 'ladies and gentlemen the rolling stones' . And this is coming from someone who loves this band .- Was this review helpful to you?
