      Absolute Drivel!

Can't imagine why it was ever made into a film. Acting was dreadful as was the story. Don't waste your time on this one.

      Trite and Predictable

I am not sure if the acting was that bad or it was the adaptation but in any case I am amazed I stayed awake. I knew what was coming 5 minutes before it ... read more »

      Winter solstice

We very much enjoyed viewing this film . We had thought it was going to be the second film of the other Rosamunde Pilcher films that we had viewed.

      Easy viewing

Lots of well-known actors, and rather predictable what would happen. Overall easy viewing for winding down.

      Lovely

      What a lovely film.

Just curl up with a box of chocs, a glass of wine, and enjoy it.

      Winter solace

Predictable and dreadful acting - shame because Rosamunde Pilcher's books are a good read!
