    [Highly rated reviewer]

Some may find this film a little too stereotyped. Quirky and sweet but not as stylised as Amelie

it balances its constituent parts by relying on Jean Reno to pull it all together.

He puts in a typical scene stealing performance and is the driving force behind the film.

I was touched and moved enough along the way to not see the ending coming.

If you want to cuddle up on the sofa with your partner and watch a good film this Sunday you could do a lot worse......i loved it

This is a truly wonderful film that will warm you up even if you are a pessimist about the meaning of life. Beautifully filmed, superbly acted and packed with laughter as well as pathos, this film is surprisingly difficult to find, whether to buy or rent. God knows why - literally!
