This is my favourite of the whole series. This time the roughnecks are battling the bugs on earth, which adds much needed tension to story. We also have a death (I'm not going to say who, but it's fairly predictable), which ups the realism a bit.
The biggest problem with this DVD is that it just ends. There's no ending. The final few episodes just weren't filmed. There are some extra episodes available on a Region 1 disc (The Zephyr Campaign), but these just fit somewhere into the middle of the series.
If the series carried on after Volume 6, I'd have probably rated this 4, but as it is, I'm only going to give it 3 because of the non-existing ending.
a good follow on from the movie although it is cgi animation.better than the heroes of the federation a big let down
