A Must SeeBy a customer , 23 Dec 2011Very, very funny. Rowan Atkinson is just so clever and Angus D, the pefect partner. I loved it, when can we have another one?
Rowan and Angus at their best.By Osama (8 reviews) from Wigan , 16 Jul 2011Excellent viewing with Rowan and Angus at their best, particularly liked Rowan taking on the role of an Indian restaurant waiter dealing with the usual Friday night drunks, where he says 'the floor is deceptively flat' as one drunk falls over - laugh out loud comedy.
Not Mr Bean, Quality from RowanBy HarryRub (12 reviews) from Norwich , 28 Feb 2011Brilliant comedy; Mr Atkinson at his dead pan best. Some of the stuff seemed familiar, but I suspect I had only heard it before.
I've never been a fan of his Mr Bean incarnation, Black Adder was my favourite of his output, especially the last series.
This we loved, laughed pretty well all the way through. Nothing to compare it with - a unique talent.
Rowan Atkinson - LIVEBy stephenaw (1 review) from Bishop Auckland, Durham , 04 Aug 2010Good and funny, but very short and badly put together.
Most comedy shows will last about 1:30hrs but this ran for just over one hour and was badly put together, with sketches not making sense next to each other.
Whilst it was very funny, it felt too short.
Not one to buy.
Clever but..By Bullybass (52 reviews) from Exeter , 20 Jul 2009I found this compilation of sketches a bit frustrating as they didn't hang together too well, which I think was mainly due to the way they were edited together. Some of the sketches are very clever but lack the spark that makes them laugh out loud funny. Atkinson's talent for near silent comedy are the best moments on this DVD but overall he comes across as a bit of a one trick pony, which I don't think he is.
