This DVD offers the opportunity to get to know the Royle's without having to wade through all three complete series, theres no doubt about that. A couple of sittings and you've got the plot and seen it off.
However, for those like myself who have watched the family from the offset this DVD came as a something of a let down. No Extra's, no Interviews, and where are those hilarious out-takes we have all come to appreciate (and lets face it.....with this supercast, there had to be some fantastic and funny gaffs along the way).
Advice for this one then. If you've seen the series leave this one on the shelf. If you want to get to know the Royle Family the quick way, then definitely grab this one and give it a look.
