I grew up with the Rugrats series, and also had a soft spot for Klasky Csupo's style of animation. Having Bruce Willis as dopey Spike was brilliant, and the similarities between Spike and Stu were so funny.
I have to admit, I do feel that the other Rugrats movies are better, and the Wild Thornberrys movie is also superior to this. It was fun, and made me wish I could still watch few both shows on Nicktoons instead of continuous Spongebob.
The songs were fun, the animation bright, and there was a moral at the end. This is what kids movies should be about.
