Most helpful review
Very very poor
By a customer from Norwich , 01 Oct 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
Possibly the worst film I've ever had the misfortune to sit through. Mind you, the final scene will stay with me forever in a 'I can't believe they let this happen' style, so at least it's memorable.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Vintage Douglas
By Kris Schroder from Finchley, London , 11 May 2006Downbeat drama from the late 70's about a sometime athlete who makes a last ditch attempt at the Olympics while trying to keep his life from unravelling; Work, divorce, etc. Michael Douglas is fine as the ageing runner who's single-minded drive prevents him from living the 9 to 5 existence. Its dated slightly now, but that isn't a problem for movie buffs like me, and though not among the best of 70's drama, its well worth a watch if only to see a pre-Fatal Attraction Michael Douglas in action. Film fans, check it out.- Was this review helpful to you?
