Stirring stuff

I love the music of Runrig. I am not Scottish but this DVD will stir the soul. The new lead vocalist is not Danny and that is a pity but he has a great voice. One of the best British bands who have endured.- Was this review helpful to you?

'Runrig - Day of Days'
By BostonDave (5 reviews) from Boston , 09 Dec 2007It is a pity that so many people in the U.K. do not know how great this Scottish band is. They are more well known in Scandinavia and Germany than they are in England.
This is one of their 30th Anniversary concerts from Stirling Castle and it is, quite simply, the best concert DVD that I have ever seen.
The setting is unique, the songs are brilliant, and the atmosphere electric. It even features an RAF flypast!
This is a DVD that you MUST rent.
I only have two regrets. The first being that I was not at the concert, and the second being that the LoveFilm shop doesn't have a copy for me to buy!- Was this review helpful to you?
