Rush Hour
Unwilling to have their investigation hampered by a meddling outsider, the FBI assigns rogue LAPD detective James Carter (Tucker) to the case. Seizing the opportunity as a chance to impress the FBI and ultimately join the Bureau, Carter enthusiastically accepts -- until he discovers that his mission is to "baby-sit" Lee and keep him away from the case at any cost. Carter, who is as arrogant and fast-talking as he is street smart, covertly embarks on a one-man crusade to solve the case. Of course, he must first distract Inspector Lee.

Fight scenes are funny, well played out, look awesome, with convincing acting from the two lead roles
Brilliantly funny - the contrast of Chris Tucker's style, to a more noble, and calm Jack Chan, just creates so many opportunities for laughter.

I can just about understand what the French see in Jerry Lewis, why the Americans embraced Roberto Benigni in Life Is Beautiful, and how some people believe Lee Evans is a comedy genius. But Chris Tucker I just don't get. Least, not as Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour films, which is the only role he's played in the last decade.
