Salman Khan, the hunky pin-up of both India's gay community and the nation's teenage girls, stars here as a playboy on one side of a love triangle in Lawrence D'Souza's amiable Bollywood romance. But, unusually for a masala ménage à trois, he and impoverished poet Sanjay Dutt appear more than willing to see each other's merits and leave poor old Madhuri Dixit feeling rather neglected.
Only watch this if you are a diehard Bolywood fan or totally adore Madhuri, Sanay Dutt or Salman. This is old Bollywood at its cheesiest. This is not bad in the same way as these bad modern-day strange pieces like Yadein, but in good old fashioned way of cheesy acting, cheesy songs (not that bad to be honest!) and cheesy story. Salman is, as usual, the worst of the bunch, Madhuri is far from her present glamour and Sanjay is absolutely hilarious with a kind of 70s-80s punk hairstyle.
It is a very good love story and remembered my olden days.
